Power of Meditation

Connecting with source requires great depths. Depths of this magnitude can only be reached with meditation.Meditation is a quieting of the mind. A place where you can SEE your thoughts. It is very easy to do and not quite as complex as it can appear to be.Yes, there are tools you can use to broaden and expand your meditation experience such as mudras and sutras, but for beginners they are not necessary.Did you know that when your eyes close, you automatically enter the Alpha phase of consciousness? This is described as a condition of restful alertness without cognitive activity. Think of meditation as being on "idle" mode. You are idling and recharging the mind and soul. This is why meditation is recommended to be done first thing in the morning before you start your day and again late afternoon to get you through until bedtime. The same way you would take a "cat nap" to revitalize yourself. So many things can be accomplished during meditation. This is a great time to talk to or meet your guide(s). If you have yet to meet them, I suggest you do so sooner than later. Your guides choose to be with you in this lifetime for a reason. They are a great source of information and can help you immensely achieve and accomplish all you desire, but only if asked. They are not allowed to get involved with your life unless invited. When you have transcended, ask for their name(s). You may hear it, or you may see a picture or have it spelled out for you. Ask them for anything you would like their help on or manifesting. They love to help! Meditation is also when some of the best ideas will come to you. There are so many different aspects of meditating, but for now let's stick with the basics.
So sit or lay down somewhere comfortable where it is quiet and you won't be disturbed. Close your eyes. Take some deep breaths. Imagine your stomach is a balloon and you are trying to fill this balloon as full as possible. You will notice mindless chatter going on in your head. This is your ego talking. It has to always be heard, so expect it to be fighting you on this whole meditating thing. Ask it to be quiet. Explain to your ego that this is something new you will be trying and this is the time for it to be quiet. If it has something so important to tell you, it can wait until after you are done. The ego will still try to talk so make sure you cut it off immediately with a simple "not now"or a "shhh". It will eventually catch on after a few times that you aren't giving up on this and it will jump on board and know that when you start meditating, this is quiet time. Now, imagine a bright, warm light coming down from the sky. A stream of light so full of love and pureness coming down and going right into the top of your head. This is your crown chakra and is the doorway to source, universe,or God.Whatever name you like. Imagine this light traveling into your head and down your entire body. Go slowly and name each part as it travels down. Head, face, throat, chest, right arm, left arm...etc. As you are naming each part...think about how warm it feels and how good it feels. Just the intention alone of feeling the warmth in those areas, will actually warm those parts. Once you have gotten all the way down to the toes, imagine the light going out of your toes and forming a huge bubble all the way around you. Now you have this light flowing through you and you are floating in it. Keep breathing. Now just let your thoughts flow to you. Any thoughts you may have. You can also try to meet your guide(s) or ask for anything you may be wishing to manifest. You can also ask for an answer to anything. Ask for anything. Also be very grateful for everything you have and say thank you. Remember you are connecting with your source. The source from where you originated from. You are phoning home, where any and everything is possible. Where all the answers are. When you are ready, you can open your eyes and come out of the meditation. I think you will be surprised to see you have been in meditation for probably 15-20 minutes. This is all that is needed 2 times per day. You will be amazed how much more patient and joyful you become. Things will come to you easier and you will begin to start to see a difference in the way you view things. You will develop an understanding for the world by consistently connecting with source. You will start understanding who you are are,why you are here, and where you came from.Nothing can be accomplished in your life until you understand those three things. Nothing. Please remember even when you feel you don't have time to meditate, some is better than none. If you only have a minute or two, fine. Just don't make a habit of it. You may not notice a huge difference right from the start but you will sure notice a difference if you stop meditating.Once you get in a habit of meditating, it won't take you but a couple of seconds to be transcended. It literally becomes that easy. You will be able to do it anywhere, at anytime. You will always be aware of what is going on around you, but will have the control to tune it out and not let it interfere with your meditating.Don't get discouraged. It can seem frustrating when you start, but every time you do it, just the quieting of the ego, will begin to shrink it. It will become easier and easier. It is essential to meditate for anything you do in your life. You WILL notice a difference and be so happy you have mastered the art of meditation. Happy meditating!
